About me

Hello, I’m Rabina, a qualified person-centred counsellor in Manchester, supporting adults online across the UK. Alongside counselling, I also offer coaching for women ready to rebuild confidence, direction and emotional strength after working through deeper challenges.

I know how difficult it can feel to reach out for help. If you’re here, you’ve already taken a brave first step. My aim is simple, to offer you a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you feel safe to talk openly and be truly heard.

Why I became a counseller

Before training as a therapist, I worked in the NHS for over 20 years as a senior dental nurse. During that time, I supported people through moments of anxiety, pain and vulnerability.

Those years taught me something that still guides my work today — the importance of empathy, patience and seeing the whole person, not just the problem.

Over time, I felt drawn to counselling because I wanted to support people more deeply and meaningfully. I wanted to create space for people to slow down, reflect, heal and not feel rushed or processed.

How I work

My approach is gentle, collaborative and trauma-informed.

I believe you are the expert in your own life. Rather than giving advice or quick fixes, we work together to understand what’s happening, explore your experiences, and find ways forward that feel right for you.

Sessions move at your pace, with care and respect for your boundaries. There is no pressure just space to think, feel and talk.
